Weekly Reading: Manifesting Change

Theme of the Week
This week is about manifesting change. Do not be afraid of change. You are feeling a bit of resistance because it is out of your comfort zone. A bit resistant to crossing those troubled waters because of what you may experience.

You are avoiding moving forward. Failure? Are you afraid of it? That is fine. We all experience it, but do not allow fear to keep you stagnant.

You are in a time of action. We are channeling Aries energy, so do not get cold feet now. Avoidance will not help you embrace the Magician’s will to hone in on divine energy and make it reality here.

Midweek Energy
There may be an obstacle thrown your way on Thursday. Egos clashing, everyone wanting to get their points across. Do not be so confrontational. It may not even have anything to do with you.

We have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen. You may be able to take something from it to help you on your journey. Better yet, you can be the voice of reason to help others.

End of Week Energy: Child of Chalices
The Child of Chalices is the Page of Cups in this deck. This is the energy closing out the week on Friday. The full reading energy makes sense for this card to appear.

The cards are saying that something will make you feel closed off, insecure, and creatively blocked. We have to turn this week around while we are still ahead.

Turning the Reversed Cards Upright
Every card that is reversed we are going to turn around. As for the Five of Lanterns, we are going to do our best to make sense of the chaos. We are going to find common ground and make sense of all that could possibly go wrong.

The Castle (Rx)
Change is uncomfortable. That is what we need. To be comfortable, more often than not, means to be stagnant. We are not doing that this season. We are breaking chains and rising in independence, even against dependency on comfort. So allow the divine to do its work.

The Castle is part of the Major Arcana, so this is something big that is happening. You may be experiencing a move, a separation, or a secret. You need to deal with it accordingly.

In the Thoth tarot, this card also signifies war. As Aleister Crowley wrote in The Book of Thoth, “To obtain perfection, all existing things must be annihilated.”

The Moon (Rx)
The Moon in reverse is fitting. You are to find a way to deal with that shadow. Because hiding that side and suppressing it does you no good. It actually harms you. It only allows you to show the world a portion of yourself.

You cannot cage a wolf, give it no food, no attention, and no space to run wild and free. When you finally do, it may turn on you. So if there are things that lie hidden within you, deal with them.

I cannot tell you how because I do not know what those things are for everyone. However, what I can say is light a candle, grab a journal, and find out what it is for you. Work through it.

Six of Flags (Swords, Rx)
This is such an emotional card. It usually shows a couple and a child in a rowboat traveling across waters that do not look entirely calm. They have swords piercing the boat, as if taking them out would surely cause them to drown.

You are avoiding something. You can sit and act like it does not exist, but that does not help you this week. You have to deal with it, and you have to do it in a way that does not cause confrontation. Listen to yourself and others, if applicable.

No one is trapped here, but this is not a quick and easy fix. This requires a sit down. Really deal with it because it has your emotions all over the place and has you second guessing yourself.

If you are trying to get away from something, right now may not be the best time. You have to deal with it head on and resolve it. Then you will experience a burden lifted and you can finally move on.

Five of Lanterns
This is chaos at its fiery finest. Do not fall for the rage bait. It is a total waste to sit around arguing with others. It is insane to argue with yourself. Just work it out.

If you are not involved, do not feed the fire. Help put the fire out.

Child of Cups Advice
We can now turn around the Child of Cups by practicing emotional maturity. Do not react to things on impulse. This has been a testing and trying week, but you made it through.

Do not let all that training go to waste by letting your intrusive and impulsive thoughts win. Put that energy where it matters most.

Final Message
This reading is all about making change. It is a marathon, not a race. Things take time, routine, and practice.

The Ace of Pentacles in reverse is showing that what you want to do to make the change will not make you feel satisfied right away. Lick your wounds and channel the Magician’s energy. Keep going, keep growing, you will be satisfied.

The Magician takes energy from a high source and uses the tools before them to create the change they want.

What do you want to change? What do you need to change? Then ask yourself how you will do it.
